New Candle of the Month Scents

Every month, in my gourmet candle company, we get a new scent. Isn’t that fabulous?! A brand new, never before made, scent just waiting to be sniffed and enjoyed.  If you are a candle distributor, you will already know how exciting it is for the UPS truck to show up!

There are several new scents coming out that I am absolutely dying to experience. April 2009 Candle of the Month scent will be………taaaa daaaa….HoneyBEE Vanilla! Doesn’t that sound unique and enticing?!  I love vanilla scents anyway and just to try to imagine HoneyBEE Vanilla is lending to the anticipation of receiving this one. Just a few more days…….

Just a Regular Ol’ Thursday…

Yesterday was just a regular ol’ Thursday. Kind of warm, little bit of sunshine, not much going on.

My daughter, who is 18 and in the United States Army, is in town. She is getting ready to deploy overseas and was able to come home for a couple of weeks before leaving. We decided to get together and have a barbecue, ride the four wheelers and just hang out and enjoy the day.

Because I work from home in MY OWN business (meaning I am the boss) I was able to make the decision to make a day of it. No boss to call in to, no clock to have to punch (and lose work hours and pay), no arrangements to be made to ‘cover me’. Instead of all that, I made potato salad and deviled eggs. My husband grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. We spent the day with the kids. What a great way to live!

Because I work from hom with my incredible candle business, I can work when I choose to work – and I can spend time with my kids when the opportunity arises. You can’t get that from a 9-5 job.

My company. never ceases to amaze me! Just when I think it can’t get any better – it does!

On March 1st, my company unvieled two new lines of candles that I am very excited about! One, in particular, is the Signature Series line of candles. Beautiful, layered, 20 oz. candles that are exceptional in appearance and quality. Another thing that I am incredibly excited about is the new labeling on our jar candles! Instead of a shrink wrap label surrounding the entire jar, we now have a smaller, applied label. This allows so much more of the flicker and light from the candle to be seen and to dance on walls and ceilings.  Part of burning a candle, aside from the awesome aroma, is the ‘feeling’ the candle gives us. In this tough economic time, why not take a moment out of your day to simply relax and enjoy yourself – add a candle for ambience – and you might just get lost for a moment.

A few months ago, I was asked by Amy at “Home Party Review” to answer some questions and ‘review’ Mia Bella Candles/Scent-Sations, Inc. for her website. Team Building ~ Residual Income

With the number of lay offs and job losses across the country, this can be a scary time for many families. As an independent Mia Bella distributor, you have the unique opportunity to help some of these families find a way out. With your Mia Bella Gourmet Candle business, you do NOT have to bug/beg/plead with 6 friends and family members to have a party before you even get signed up. Fundraising

Fundraising is another great way to make a good income – and you get to help out a group or organization at the same time.

You coordinate the fundraiser – get fundraising packets together, introduce the product to the fundraising chairperson or leader and they take over from there! The organization or group does all the work, but for your coordinating effort and for presenting the opportunity to them, you get to make some money also!

Most fundraising groups and organizations have a lot of experience in this area; you just provide the product and the information – your training is provided by our team and in the back office of your ScentSations website! The group does the actual selling – then, you call the order into the Corporate office. You can have the order shipped directly to you or you can have it drop shipped to the fundraising group or organization. The ScentSations Corporate Office will even put YOUR labels on the bottom of each jar candle prior to them leaving the factory!

Think of all the groups and organizations you know that use fundraisers:
